ith multiple categories or subcategories, and those can be linked with multiple properties.
Products
Adding or editing products (including variant products and bulk editing) can be done on the Product Listing page. Products can also be grouped into static or dynamic product groups. Once your organization considers product information accurate and complete, you can certify the product.
Note: Only Certified products can be exported.
Certified Products
A certified product has been verified or approved by a regulatory authority or third-party organization. This certification indicates that the product meets certain standards or criteria, such as safety or environmental regulations, and is ready to be marketed and sold.
Product Groups
Product Groups refer to a collection of products that share similar attributes or characteristics. These groups are created to help manage products efficiently and improve the user experience for customers browsing the product catalog.
There are two primary types of product groups: Static and Dynamic.
Static Product Groups
Static product groups are fixed collections of products that a user manually assigns based on certain attributes or criteria.
Example:
a static product group titled “Summer Collection” contains all products tagged with a “summer” attribute.
Once created, these groups remain constant until the user manually modifies or updates them. This feature is particularly beneficial for managing products with stable characteristics or for creating custom collections tailored to specific campaigns or promotional activities.
A few potential scenarios for using static product groups include:
- Creating themed collections for holidays or events (e.g., “Christmas Specials”)
- Segregating products based on a specific attribute (e.g., “Organic Produce”)
- Managing limited-edition products or exclusive lines (e.g., “Limited Edition Sneakers”)
Dynamic Product Groups
Unlike static groups, dynamic product groups are generated automatically and rely on pre-specified criteria or attributes. As products are added, removed, or updated in the system, the composition of these groups changes accordingly.
Example:
Consider a dynamic product group labeled “Red Shoes.” This group would automatically encompass all products with a “color” attribute set to “red.” If a new red shoe product is added to the system or an existing product is updated with the “red” attribute, it’s instantly included in the group.
Conversely, if a product’s color attribute is changed from “red” to another color, it’s automatically removed from the group.
Dynamic product groups are beneficial for managing large catalogs of products, ensuring real-time accuracy of product groupings, and eliminating the need for manual adjustments. They’re particularly useful in scenarios such as:
- Categorizing products based on fluctuating characteristics (e.g., “Sale Items” or “New Arrivals”)
- Managing product groups where attributes may frequently change (e.g., “Top Rated Products”)
- Creating groups based on intricate or multi-tiered criteria (e.g., “Men’s Running Shoes Under $100”)

Workflows help automate and streamline processes within Unbxd PIM. They consist of triggers and nodes:
-
Trigger
This is the event or condition that initiates the workflow. Triggers could be a range of events, such as a new lead added to the CRM system, or a user interaction, such as clicking an email link.
-
Node
Nodes represent steps or actions performed in the workflow. These are like building blocks that are combined to create complex workflows. Each node signifies a specific task that needs to be carried out, such as sending an email, updating a database, or running a script. Nodes can be connected to create a sequence of actions that form the workflow.
