Once you schedule an import, you can always change the SFTP location and the file formats you want to pick up from the location. You can also update the import frequency for a schedule.
Editing a Scheduled Import
Go to the Import tab and click on “Scheduled Imports.”
The Scheduled Imports Listing page will appear.
Click on the icon of the import schedule you want to edit by selecting the appropriate option.
If you wish to change the existing SFTP location, select a different location from the “Select SFTP” list.
To add a new SFTP location, click on “Add New” and provide the required details such as name, hostname, port number, file path, username, and password. You can also test the connectivity of the SFTP location by clicking on “Test Connection.”
To update the file formats you want to import from the SFTP location, select or clear the checkboxes for the desired file formats (e.g., .CSV, .XLS, JSON, .XML).
If you want to change the import template, select a different template from the “Select Import Templates” list.
To modify the import frequency, follow these steps:
Enter a new value in the first box to change the repeat frequency of the import.
Select the appropriate time unit (Hours, Days, Weeks, or Months) from the second box.
Depending on the selected time unit, set the desired time, day of the week, date, and time zone for running the import.
If you need to change the end time of the import schedule, select the appropriate option from the “Ends” list:
Select “Never” if you want the import schedule to continue indefinitely.
Select “On a Specific Date” to set a specific end date (in DD/MM/YYYY format).
Select “After Specific Occurrence” to define the number of repetitions before the import schedule ends.
Click on “Save Schedule” to save your changes.
If necessary, click on “Start Schedule” to initiate the updated import schedule.
To modify the basic information for the scheduled import, switch to the “Info” tab:
Update the name or description of the scheduled import as needed.
