Making a Attribute Searchable

To enable searching for a specific attribute and its values in the Products Listing page of Unbxd PIM, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Manage tab and click on Attributes. This will take you to the Attributes Listing page.
  2. If you are looking for a particular attribute, use the search box and enter the attribute name to filter the results. You can also narrow the search by selecting a specific attribute group from the Attribute Groups list or filtering by data type or attribute group.
  3. Locate the attribute you want to make searchable and click on the icon next to it.
  4. The Attribute Details tab will open. In this tab, you will find various details about the attribute.
  5. Select the “Allow attribute to be searched” checkbox to make the attribute searchable.
  6. After making the attribute searchable, click the Update button to save the changes.
  7. Once you have made the attribute searchable, any values associated with that attribute will be included in the search results when performing searches in the Products Listing page.  For example, if the attribute is “Book Content” and you make it searchable, searching for the value “Picture Book” will display products that have the attribute value “Picture” for the “Book Content” attribute.
