Mandatory Attributes required to list products on Etsy
- who_made: You need to specify who made the product. The options are:
- “i_did” (you made it)
- “someone_else” (someone else made it)
- “collective” (a group or collective made it) This helps buyers find handmade items. You also need to provide information about whether it is a supply item and when it was made.
- title: The title of your listing must follow these rules:
- Only use letters, numbers, punctuation marks, mathematical symbols, spaces, ™, ©, and ®.
- You can only use the %, :, & and + symbols once each in the title.
- shipping_profile_title: If your product is a physical item, you must provide the name of the shipping profile associated with the listing.
- description: A detailed description of the product you’re selling.
- price: The price of your product must be a positive, non-zero amount. This is the minimum price possible for your item. Note that sold product listings will be private.
- when_made: You need to specify when the product was made. The options are:
- “made_to_order” (made when ordered)
- “2020_2023” (made between 2020 and 2023)
- “2010_2019” (made between 2010 and 2019)
- Other decade options going back to “before_1700” (made before the year 1700) This helps buyers find vintage items. You also need to specify if it is a supply item and who made it.
- category_name: Provide the complete category name of your product, including subcategories, separated by ‘>’ (e.g., “Home & Living > Kitchen & Dining > Cookware”).
- quantity: The number of items available for sale.
- sku: The Stock Keeping Unit, a unique identifier for your product.
