Mandatory fields are the minimum required information for a product to be listed in Shopify. These fields are necessary to properly display and sell a product in an e-commerce store. The mandatory fields for a product in Shopify include
- Body_html: This field is used to store the product description.
- Id: This field is a unique identifier for the product.
- Price: This field stores the product’s price.
- Sku: This field stores the product’s stock-keeping unit (SKU), a unique identifier that tracks inventory.
- Title: This field is used to store the name or title of the product.
For a product to be listed in Shopify, all fields must be present and contain valid information. If any of these fields are missing or contain invalid data, the product may not be displayed correctly or may not be able to be sold in the store.
