You can use the pause feature to temporarily stop an active workflow. When a workflow is paused, you have the ability to modify the trigger and the workflow steps.
Here’s how you can pause and resume a workflow:
Click on Manage and select Workflow.
The Workflows Listing page will appear.
If you are looking for a specific active workflow, use the search box to search by the workflow name.
To view activity log for the workflow, click .
To filter by the trigger type, click on Time or Event in the Trigger Type list.
Click next to the active workflow you want to edit.
To view the activity log for the workflow, click .
Click Pause Workflow.
The workflow status will change from Active to Paused.
Changing the Trigger:
If you want to change the trigger to Time follow these steps:
In the list, click on Time.
Enter the desired repeat frequency and select the time unit (Hours, Minutes, Weeks, or Months).
Set the end condition for the workflow (Never, On a Specific Date, or After Specific Occurrences).
If you want to change the trigger to Event, follow these steps:
In the list, click on Event.
Select the relevant PIM operations (Addition, Completion, or Removal) based on your requirements.
Modifying Node Configurations:
If you want to change the configurations for a specific node, follow these steps:
Click on the node.
The configurations window will appear.
Make the necessary changes.
Click on Update Node to save the modifications.
Removing a Node:
If you want to remove a specific node, follow these steps:
Click on the node.
The configurations window will appear.
Click on Remove Node to delete the node from the workflow.
Adding and Branching Nodes:
To add a node at any stage of the workflow, click .
If a node is eligible to branch out into multiple other nodes, the plus symbol will change to.
To branch out a node into other nodes, click on the .
Resuming a Workflow:
If you want to resume a paused workflow, click on Resume Workflow.
The workflow status will change from Paused to Active.
