How to create task template?
Description:
If you are working on the same product properties and with a specific department of the PIM team on a daily basis, task templates will help you create tasks quickly. For example, you head the Marketing team in your organization, with your team of Content Writers who are responsible for updating product properties like “Product Descriptions”. Since this is a task of repetitive nature, you can create a task template using the product properties and the assigned roles. So, next time you create a task, just reuse the task template.
How to:
To create a task template, on the MANAGE tab, click on “Tasks”. Click “Task Templates”. Now Click “Create a task template”. If you are looking for a specific property, in the search box, search by product name. If you want to filter properties based on their property group, in the Property Groups list, select the property group. If you want to filter by data type of the property, in the Property Types list, select the data type. Click the check boxes to select the properties. Click Next.
To name task template and assign in to a role, enter a name for the task template. In the “Assign task to” list, select members or roles. Click on “Create Task Template”.
