16.What is a catalog and how can you create and share it?
Description:
You can use catalogs to share specific products and their details for internal and external business requirements. You can start with selecting the products, product properties you want to display, and facets for the page. Once the catalog is published, you can share the catalog link with the recipients. As and when the catalog is updated, the catalog links can be generated in real time.
How to:
To create a new catalog, on the MANAGE tab, click Catalogs. Click Create Catalog. Enter a name for the catalog. Click Proceed. If you want to use product groups for your catalog, click Select Product Group and select from any of your previously made groups. You can also select individual products and click on proceed. Now your catalogue is ready. Make further changes to your catalogue by deciding on what properties you want to show for each product, which properties should be used as keywords for the product (a.k.a. facets), etc.
