Standard Templates and Custom Templates are two templates available in Unbxd PIM that facilitate data mapping and transformation for exported files sent to channels.

Standard Templates: 

System Templates are pre-defined templates provided by Unbxd PIM. They are standard templates designed to meet the requirements of specific retailers or e-commerce sites. 

These templates come with pre-configured PIM properties mappings to the target endpoint’s corresponding properties. System Templates can be edited or viewed, allowing customization based on specific needs.

Custom Templates: 

Custom Templates are templates created by users in Unbxd PIM. They provide flexibility for mapping and transforming product data according to specific requirements. Users can define their own mappings between PIM properties and target endpoint properties. 

Apart from mapping product properties, templates allow the use of scripts for data transformation. Scripts can be written to combine, manipulate, or format property values based on specific rules or transformations. Templates can be created, edited, viewed in detail, and deleted as needed.

Based on your permissions, you can do the following:

• Edit a standard template
• View standard template details
• Create a custom template
• Edit a custom template
• View custom template details
• Delete a custom template

Here is how you can get started with Export templates.

To work with templates 

1. Navigate to the Export menu.
2. Select the Export Templates option.

You can access and manage standard and custom templates from there, including editing, viewing, creating, or deleting them based on your permissions.
