Attributes

Attributes in Unbxd PIM serve as product characteristics that store specific product information. Each attribute is associated with a data type and holds corresponding attribute values. 

Example

A T-shirt may have attributes like “Size” with values such as “Large” or “Medium” and “Color” with values like “Blue.” The data types of attribute values can range from strings to numbers, depending on the nature of the attribute.

You can create attribute groups in Unbxd PIM to effectively organize and manage pattributes for your products. Attribute groups allow you to group related attributes together, making it easier to locate and organize them on the product details page

User Permissions

You can access the Attribute functionalities based on permissions set by the “admin” or any user equivalent to an admin.

The table below describes the different user privileges based on your system permissions.

Permissions Description or Action
Manage If your system permission for Attribute Definitions is set to Manage, you can perform the following actions:

  • Create a new attribute
  • Change attribute name & assigned attribute group
  • Change role permissions for a attribute
  • Make a attribute searchable
  • Download all attributes
  • Upload a file consisting of all attributes
  • Delete an attribute
  • Create a new attribute group
  • Change attribute group name & associated attributes
  • Delete a attribute group
Read Only If your system permission for Attribute Definitions is set to Read Only, you can:

  • View a attribute information
  • Download all attributes
  • View a attributes group information
Hide If your system permission for Attribute Definitions is set to Hide, you cannot access the functionality.

Quick Navigation → Navigate to OVERVIEW → Click on Attributes ->Create Attributes.
