Attribute groups in Unbxd PIM allow you to group multiple attributes together, making it easier to organize and locate various attributes on the product details page. When dealing with many attributes or when different teams are responsible for specific product sections, attribute groups enhance the scalability and organization of product information.

Example

Let’s consider a scenario where a technical team is responsible for updating the specifications of a watch. The following attributes can be grouped under a attribute group called “Product Specifications”:

1. Dial color
2. Display type
3. Case shape
4. Part number
5. Warranty type
6. Movement

By creating a attribute group, the technical team can easily focus on managing these attributes instead of searching through a long list of attributes.

Note: Each attribute can only be assigned to one attribute group.

With the appropriate permissions, you can perform the following actions related to attribute groups:

1. Create a new attribute group
2. Change the name of a attribute group and its associated attributes
3. View information about a attribute group
4. Delete a attribute group.

Access attribute groups and perform these actions

1. Navigate to the MANAGE tab.
2. Click on “Attributes” to access the Attributes section.
3. You can see all the attribute groups and the attributes associated with it.
4. You can click on Expand/Collapse rows to expand[displays all the attributes present] or collapse[Will Display just the attribute group name along with expand bar which when clicked will display all the attributes] the attribute groups.
