How to get your product data to Unbxd PIM?
You have got access to the new Unbxd PIM. What next? If you have the product data in a specified format (.CSV, .XLS, .JSON, and .XML), you can start integrating your data into Unbxd PIM.
The first-time product import is a two-stage process:
- Uploading product information
- Mapping product properties
Setting the mandatory properties and mapping is a one-time action, post that subsequent import happens real quick.
How to:
You can either use the “OVERVIEW” tab or the “MANAGE” tab to import your products. You can upload the product data via locating the file from your computer or define a SFTP location where you have the import file stored. Once you have fetched the product data, you can set the mandatory product properties like Product ID and Product Name.
For property mapping, you can use two different views:

- Data table mapping
- Direct field-to-field mapping
Along with mapping properties, you can also set the following:

- View new properties

- Set data types for the properties

- Make a property searchable in the product listing

- Exclude an entire property column for import
- Set separators for your multivalued properties
Once you are done with configuring your import file, you can click “Start Import”.
